It’s snowing in kindergarten at #PondCoveSchool Students built snowmen using pattern blocks app, learned to take screenshots, cropped photos +marked up with names. 5 year olds. Wow. #mindblown Of course we played the #Frozen soundtrack.

It’s amazing how educators adapt to make things better for students. Our school counselor @BriGallagherSC transformed her space to help students w/their social emotional needs. Mats on the floor w/puppets, a race track w/seat cars, +of course lava at the door. #PondCoveSchool

Kindergarten students were detectives with their new iPads. They searched for all of the features they would need to be successful with their new devices before they started taking them home. #PondCoveSchool

The restriction on Massachusetts has been lifted by Governor Mills. The exempt states for travel are now: MA, NY, NH, VT, NJ, CT. All other states will require a 14-day quarantine or a negative Covid test result.

Due to a recent federal waiver extension, ALL kids eat free lunch in our school system until December 31st!

The fun continues in grade 4. Students are learning to insert selfies into a #GoogleDoc. Then they are learning how to resize the images and add a colorful border. #PondCoveSchool #maskselfie

Exempt states for travel are still New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, & New Jersey. All other travel requires a 14-day quarantine or a negative Covid test. These requirements include if you must venture outside of Maine for a medical appointment.

School Nutrition Update: Good News! The U.S.D.A has extended their summer feeding waiver! What this means is all of our students regardless of eligibility will be able to access both breakfast and lunch at no cost to them.

Bus assignments are now live on the parent portal in PowerSchool!
