Please congratulate these students on a job well done at the Maine State Math Meet. Audrey Alberts was recognized for her third place finish in the state over the regular season and had a PERFECT score during the state championship earning her a first place finish at the meet. Wenshin Lu was awarded fourth place in her age group at the state meet and the team placed fourth in Division B. The team had strong performances from Neil and Ezra Gabrielson, Trevor Oakley, Dash Young, Aman Khare, Wendell Lu, Logan Schwartz and Cecilia Fremont.
Due to the impending storm, Cape Elizabeth will not have school on Thursday (4/4).
C𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 Cape Elizabeth Middle School 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 Maine Band Directors Association 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 on March 27th.
At the festival, students performed 20 minutes of music, received a score, rating, and recorded feedback from judges, performed a sight reading example, and received a clinic from the judges.

The CEHS Math Team had an outstanding performance in the Maine State Math Meet. Individually results included a PERFECT SCORE, first place finish, fourth place finish, and many strong performances. Team achievements included a fourth place finish.
