Student Council Members from grades 5, 6 and 7 attended the 5th Annual Leadership Summit For Middle School Students at UNE, joining other schools from Southern Maine. The theme this year was Courage to Lead. Students gathered in small groups with students from other schools to discuss goals and complete an activity about the Courage to be You! CEMS shared with the larger group the things that are great about our school, what challenges we face and how to address these challenges.
Members who attended: Kate Fink (5th grade rep), Minna Goenthert (6th grade rep), Finn O'Grade (7th grade rep), Jonah Milton (Vice President), Hailey Fontaine (6th grade member), Elizabeth Converse (6th grade member) and Advisor Allison Caruso.
